CRÉATION: A
CONSTELLATION

21 DAYS
OF ATTENTION
It is not a search for the perfect solo, nor a race toward a finished work. I do not enter the studio to force clarity or to prove that I know what I am doing.
I enter to practice attention.
For these 21 days, my responsibility is simple: to become available.
Available to the body before language.
Available to curiosity before certainty.
Available to surprise before composition.
I trust that what matters will reveal itself through sustained attention rather than premature decisions.
My practice is not to invent movement.
My practice is to notice.
To notice when a state becomes alive.
To notice when it begins to fade.
To notice when another world quietly asks to emerge.
I do not need to hold onto good ideas.
I do not need to abandon difficult ones.
Every embodiment has its own lifetime.
My work is to stay with it until it has fully lived.
Then to let it transform.
I will not measure this residency by the amount of material I produce.
I will measure it by the quality of my attention.
Did I remain curious?
Did I listen deeply?Did I allow myself to be changed?
I remember that choreography is not only the composition of movement.
The studio is an ecosystem.
The floor, the light, the walls, the silence, my memories, my fatigue, my joy, my questions, the music, the absence of music, the unknown—all of these are collaborators.
I do not need to dominate them.
I need to enter into relationship with them.
If I become lost, I return to one questionWhat is alive right now?
Not what should happen.
Not what would impress.
Not what belongs in the final performance.
Only what is alive.
If nothing seems alive, then I wait.
Waiting is not failure.
Waiting is part of the practice.
I trust emergence.
I trust that attention creates the conditions for discovery.
I trust that the dance already knows something my mind has not yet understood.
For these five days, I choose depth over productivity.
Presence over certainty.
Practice over performance.
The work is not to make a solo.
The work is to become more intimate with the way I perceive.
The dance will follow.
