DANCE PERFORMANCE

SACRED DISASTER is a choreographic journey through a sacred collapse. A burned, erotic, post-apocalyptic world, infused with sacred geometries, solar dreams, and cellular memory. A ritualistic, queer, unruly, and vibrant playground, where nine performers with singular bodies coexist within an unstable architecture: somewhere between bunker and cathedral, between ruin and rebirth.

This dance research-creation project is part of a broader exploration of catastrophe as a portal, and chaos as a matrix for transformation.

SOLAR PUNK

Solar punks are the ones who refuse the idea that collapse is the end of the story. They know the world is fucked. They also know that another world is possible and that only imagining it, isn’t enough. You have to practice it. In your body. With other people. In the way you gather, move, make, share, care, fuck shit up, and make something new.

Solarpunk is a speculative movement rooted in ecological interdependence, collective action, decentralized ways of living, and the belief that technology and imagination can be used to build futures that don’t reproduce the systems that brought us here. But the punk is important. This isn’t a clean, polished utopia. It’s DIY. It’s messy. It’s irreverent. It’s refusing to accept that exploitation, extraction, isolation, and ecological collapse are just the way things are.

They’re experimenting. They’re finding out what happens when we stop organizing ourselves around domination and start organizing around relationship. What happens when everyone gets to bring their own weirdness, their own desire, their own intelligence, their own way of moving—and somehow, together, something bigger emerges.

They know that power doesn’t have to mean control. They know you can be fucking powerful without taking power away from someone else. They know joy can be political. That pleasure can be a technology. That gathering can be resistance. That tenderness is not weakness. That being fully alive is already a refusal.

BUNKER

Sometimes you gotta disappear. Go underground. Get the fuck out of the noise. Shut the door on the outside world for a minute and figure out what the hell you’re doing. The bunker is a refuge, but it’s not a waiting room. It’s where we regroup. Rest. Argue. Dream. Improvise. Make plans. Figure out how to live together when the old ways aren’t working anymore.

Who grows the food? Who builds the shelter? Who cooks? Who takes care of everyone? Who wants out so badly they’ll risk everything to go looking? And who looks around and thinks: Honestly? I’m good here. Why change?

Nobody knows how long we’ll be here. So we experiment. We prototype different ways of being together. We fuck up. We adapt. We make do with what we’ve got. We nurture the tiny, stubborn, brilliant, delicate things that might eventually grow into something.
