Solar punks are the ones who refuse the idea that collapse is the end of the story. They know the world is fucked. They also know that another world is possible and that only imagining it, isn’t enough. You have to practice it. In your body. With other people. In the way you gather, move, make, share, care, fuck shit up, and make something new.
They’re experimenting. They’re finding out what happens when we stop organizing ourselves around domination and start organizing around relationship. What happens when everyone gets to bring their own weirdness, their own desire, their own intelligence, their own way of moving—and somehow, together, something bigger emerges.
They know that power doesn’t have to mean control. They know you can be fucking powerful without taking power away from someone else. They know joy can be political. That pleasure can be a technology. That gathering can be resistance. That tenderness is not weakness. That being fully alive is already a refusal.
