(FR) Réuni·es sur scène par un désir commun de construire un safe space, naïvement mais sûrement, les corps jouent, se bousculent, se crispent et se soutiennent dans ce ballet contemporain queer, troublé et dopé à l’espérance.
Interrogeant le rapport à la chorégraphie, 6 artistes-interprètes naviguent des structures d’oppressions et de libération, à la recherche d’espaces leur permettant une authenticité radicalement fluide et solidaire. Quête de l’impossible, utopie queer, négociation constante d’une expression tiraillée par leurs désirs internes et les forces systémiques, ASS se révèle à nous comme une ode à la complexité du monde, la beauté de continuer de questionner son identité individuelle et collective, et la vision fugitive d’une révolution inclusive.

(EN) Brought together on stage by a shared desire to build a safe space, the bodies play, jostle, tense up and support each other in this contemporary queer ballet, troubled and doped with hope. 
Questioning the relationship to choreography, 6 performers navigate structures of oppression and liberation, in search of spaces that allow them a radically fluid and supportive authenticity. A quest for the impossible, a queer utopia, a constant negotiation of expression torn by internal desires and systemic forces, ASS reveals itself to us as an ode to the complexity of the world, the beauty of continuing to question one's individual and collective identity, and the fleeting vision of an inclusive revolution.


« Moment of gratitude sent towards a whole village of wonderfully generous, critical and skilled artists who have delved into my unfinished ideas and never-ending questions surrounding the phenomenon of safer spaces. Have we succeeded ? I don’t know. All I know is that we gathered, we questioned, we disagreed, we listened, we cared, we loved and we expanded. A lot. »
