Interdisciplinary artist, choreographer, teacher, and axis of Always Already, Nicholas Bellefleur explores a constantly shifting world—queer, post-humanist, and radically alive—in which art and being together become a space for healing, resistance, and transformation. 

After collaborating closely with world-renowned choreographers Andrea Peña, Virginie Brunelle, Dave St-Pierre, and Wynn Holmes, Bellefleur co-founded Proto Studio, a self-managed art center for community. With the performances RAVERIE, COWORKER and SACRED DISASTER, and through classes series like Praxis, LFDTCLASS and Rehearsal for the Future, Nicholas challenges choreography as world-building, performance as research, the body as landscape, dance as a practice of liberation.

Artiste interdisciplinaire, chorégraphe, enseignant et pilier de Always Already, Nicholas Bellefleur explore un univers en constante évolution — queer, post-humaniste et radicalement vivant — dans lequel l’art et le fait d’être ensemble deviennent un espace de guérison, de résistance et de transformation.

Après avoir collaboré étroitement avec des chorégraphes de renommée mondiale tels qu’Andrea Peña, Virginie Brunelle, Dave St-Pierre et Wynn Holmes, Bellefleur a cofondé Proto Studio, un centre artistique autogéré au service de la communauté. Avec les spectacles RAVERIE, COWORKER et SACRED DISASTER, et à travers des séries de cours comme Praxis, LFDTCLASS et Rehearsal for the Future, Nicholas repense la chorégraphie comme construction d’un monde, la performance comme recherche, le corps comme paysage, la danse comme pratique de libération.« Always Already est un nuage de possibilité.
