Nicholas Bellefleur
Montreal-based choreographer and interdisciplinary artist, I create immersive experiences that blur the boundaries of the living, artificality and integrity of space and time. My work is rooted in the body: a queer, virtuosic, sensitive, mutant body - traversed by memory, desire, technologies and systems of power.

Through a truly immersive dive into the underground rave culture of the 90s, audiences are invited to let go of their madness and enter a form of collective, inclusive trance where the pleasure of dancing and being together is galvanizing and liberating.
These rave parties were places where people of different cultures and styles came together and shared, through music and movement, a peaceful, profound, physical and hugely positive experience.
In this time capsule of the golden age of electronic music, the audience will also be in direct contact with a key and highly influential element of this counter-culture: the art of graffiti. We invite you to experience a world without cells, without judgment, without caste and without limits, the likes of which you've never seen before.
